🥇 1. Fruit harvesting

It all starts with the manual harvesting of prickly pear and nigella pods, when the fruits are fully ripe.
This crucial stage ensures optimum quality of the seeds, which are rich in antioxidants, essential fatty acids and vitamin E.
At Argania, we prefer artisanal, environmentally-friendly methods, with no industrial machinery or intensive harvesting, to preserve the purity of each ingredient.

🥈 2. Seed extraction

Once harvested, the fruits are carefully opened by hand to extract the precious seeds they contain.
This painstaking work, carried out entirely by hand, ensures that the natural properties of the seeds are not altered, and that the oil is of the highest quality.
Each seed is then cleaned and sorted to retain only the densest and most nutrient-rich, veritable jewels of nature.

🥉 3. Natural drying

The selected seeds are then dried naturally in the sun for several days.
This slow, respectful process preserves the integrity of the active plant ingredients, while naturally eliminating moisture.
No artificial heat sources are used - a voluntary choice that reflects our commitment to ethical, authentic manufacturing.
It is at this stage that the seeds reach the ideal texture for cold extraction.

🧊 4. Cold pressing

The dried seeds are then mechanically cold-pressed, without solvent or chemical treatment.
This slower but more respectful method preserves all the vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids naturally present in the seeds.
The result: a pure, unrefined, highly concentrated oil, with a fine texture and delicate fragrance.
It is this process that gives our oils their exceptional efficacy and incomparable silky feel.

Once filtered, our oils are bottled and labeled in Switzerland, under rigorous control.
Each bottle is carefully filled by hand, to guarantee total traceability and consistent quality.
No dilutions, no additions, no modifications: simply the natural purity of the ingredients, preserved from start to finish.
This requirement makes each Argania bottle an exceptional product, respectful of skin and nature.
